Building a network is essential for a career in events. Alongside your ESINEV program, we encourage you to get to know the professional bodies and industry networks active in Canada and internationally.

Organisations worth knowing

• ILEA (International Live Events Association) – an international community of live-events professionals.
• MPI (Meeting Professionals International) – a global association for the meetings and events industry.
• CAEM (Canadian Association of Exposition Management) – an association for exhibition and event professionals in Canada.

These organisations are independent of ESINEV: we list them as useful resources, not as partners. Membership terms and benefits are set by each organisation.

How ESINEV helps

Our programs reference current industry practice, and your tutors can advise you on events, trade shows and communities where you can start building your professional network.
