    Punto de Encuentro (Muster Point)
    Un lugar seguro y predeterminado, generalmente al aire libre y a una distancia segura del edificio, donde el personal y los visitantes se reúnen después de una evacuación para ser contabilizados.
    PIO (Public Information Officer)
    En la estructura ICS, es el miembro del equipo de comando responsable de desarrollar y divulgar información precisa y coherente al público, a los medios de comunicación y a otras agencias.
    Simulacro de Mesa (Tabletop Exercise)
    Un ejercicio de simulación basado en la discusión, donde los miembros del equipo de gestión de emergencias se reúnen para discutir sus roles y respuestas a un escenario de emergencia presentado por un facilitador.
    Refugio en el Lugar (Shelter-in-Place)
    Un procedimiento de seguridad que implica buscar refugio dentro del edificio actual en lugar de evacuarlo, utilizado cuando la amenaza externa (p. ej., un tornado, un escape de productos químicos) hace que salir sea más peligroso.
